Step behind the doors of Oh! Chocolate on Mercer Island and spend an evening exploring the craft of chocolate-making with our chocolatiers. Our classes are hands-on, approachable, and designed to be enjoyed whether you're a longtime chocolate lover or simply curious to try something new.

What makes our classes special?

A family chocolate tradition

Oh! Chocolate has been part of the Mercer Island community for generations. Our classes offer a chance to experience a little of that tradition firsthand and learn about the craft behind the chocolates we make in our shop.

Taste chocolate from bean to bar

Chocolate is more than the finished treat. During our classes, you'll explore how chocolate changes from cacao bean to finished chocolate, tasting along the way and discovering how flavor and texture develop.

Learn by doing

You'll get hands-on experience with chocolate, including learning how to temper chocolate and creating your own chocolate treats. Our chocolatiers guide you through each step, so no previous experience is necessary.

Take home something you made

You'll create a selection of chocolate treats to take home and enjoy, along with two of our handmade chocolates from the shop.

Who are the classes for?

Our classes are designed for adults and older kids who enjoy chocolate, learning something new, and spending time together. They're a fun option for friends, couples, family members, visitors to the Seattle area, or anyone looking for a different kind of evening out.

No chocolate-making experience is necessary. Come ready to learn, taste, and get a little messy.

A chocolate experience on Mercer Island

Located in the heart of Mercer Island, Oh! Chocolate is a short drive from Seattle and the Eastside. Our classes take place after our regular retail hours, giving you the opportunity to experience the shop in a completely different way.
